Donkey Tail
Other names: Burro’s Tail
These uncommon succulents are known for their elongated stems that look like a hanging braid. Fallen leaves can root in soil to create a brand new plant through a passive process called propagation. In the summer, they can produce small pink flowers in ideal conditions.
Water when the soil is 100% dry. Water monthly in the winter.
Note: Check the soil before watering to avoid overwatering. Stick your finger or a wooden stick into the soil to the recommended depth. If it feels completely dry, it’s time to water. If it still feels damp or leaves moisture on your finger or stick, wait and check again later.
