Brother Bear Botanicals was born from the healing power of plants.
Our founder’s story
In 2025, my brother died in a tragic motorcycle accident at age 23. To many, he was known as Ian. To me, he was my Brother Bear.
Houseplants helped me navigate this period of grief in a meaningful way. I found an anchor in designing green spaces, building connections to our planet, and feeling the restorative effects of botanicals - plant-care truly became a form of self-care. It became my mission to share beautiful plants and all they can teach us with my community, to help others deeply connect to their roots through moments of celebration, commemoration, learning, and simple joy.
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We are committed to helping growers and sowers of all kinds reap the rewarding effects of plants and greenery, no matter their level of experience.
